Routines

Creating a Routine

  1. Navigate to the Routines page from the left navigation panel.
  2. Click on + Add Routine to start a new routine setup.
  3. Fill in the following details:
    • Routine Name: Enter a descriptive name for the routine.
    • Select Project: Choose the relevant project this routine is associated with.
    • Status: Set the initial status of the routine (e.g., Active, Completed).
    • Description: Provide a brief overview or purpose of the routine.
    • Notifications: Select the users who should receive notifications related to this routine.
    • Start Date and End Date: Set the dates to define the routine's active period.
    • Routine Type: Choose whether the routine should repeat daily, weekly, or monthly.
    • Time: Specify the time of day the routine should be executed.
    • Days of the Week/Month: Select the specific days on which the routine should be active (e.g., Monday, 1st of each month).
  4. Generate Dates: Click the “Generate Dates” button to create a list of upcoming action dates based on the specified settings.

Managing and Editing Routines

  1. Receive In-System Notifications: Users will be notified when a routine date is approaching, ensuring they stay informed of upcoming actions.
  2. Edit Routine Date/Time:
    • Navigate to the routine you want to edit.
    • Click Action > Edit.
    • Update the routine type, time, and days of the week/month as needed.
    • Click “Generate Dates” to create a new set of next action dates, including the current schedule.
  3. Reset Routine Dates:
    • To reset the routine's dates, click the “Delete All” option.
    • Click “Generate Dates” again to create a new set of next action dates based on the inputted start date, end date, and routine settings.

Note: Any changes made to the routine date and time will trigger in-system notifications for relevant users to keep them updated with the new schedule.

These steps ensure that routines are easily created, managed, and updated while keeping users informed of upcoming actions.
